This summer. families can meet Sue, the most complete, best-preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever found, in the Lou! The Saint Louis Science Center will welcome SUE: The T. rex Experience beginning June 8. The special exhibition features the latest scientific discoveries about the species as a whole along as well immersive, sensory exploration of life in the Cretaceous period.
Continue reading »Science Tots is designed for children ages 18 to 36 months. The class provides opportunities to support brain development and learning. Toddlers and their grown-ups will explore STEM topics through songs, stories, hands-on exploration and play.
Free outdoor concerts are back at the Missouri History Museum. The September 2024 series of concerts features favorites like the Ohio Players Anthology, food trucks, and exhibits inside the museum that are open to the public until 8 p.m. on concert nights. Concerts are held from 6-8 p.m.
Adventures abound at Trike Town, the outdoor, child-size city at The Magic House. Kids can pick out their favorite little red tricycle and explore the entire town while learning about bicycle safety and the importance of wearing a helmet.
Toddlers and their grownups can learn, create and play during Toddler Thursday at Mastodon State Historic Site. Each session explores a different topic related to nature and includes activities and a craft.
Witness high-flying canine athletes at the Incredible Dog Show, take a wagon ride, experience up-close encounters with farm animals in the animal barn (Pet the animals! Milk a cow!), or visit adoptable cats and dogs all at Purina Farms this summer. Open Thursday - Sunday, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. every week, and daily admission is free.
